Serenity Foundation Structure

The orphanage will operate in full cooperation with the local community, drawing the staff from that community and ensuring that they are all aware of our project.  This will mean that they will be able refer cases to us so that we ensure that our project reaches those truly in need of its help.

We will house children up to the age of 16 years, but plan to be able to reunite them with their families or introduce them into adoptive families before that age.  To facilitate the reintroduction of the children into their family, we will provide a counselling service for the parents of those children that are housed with us.

We will also ensure that the children receive the education they need to enable them to have a future career, and thus avoid a return to the poverty trap that has engulfed their childhood life
