Serenity Foundation's Aims

  • To provide a safe home for those children who currently do not have one in Kayamandi.

  • Give children the skills to help themselves and break the poverty cycle.

  • Identify the potential in children and give them the education they need to realise it.

  • Educate and provide counselling for those parents who cause their own children to be the victims of their circumstances from their alcohol abuse and lack of family planning amongst the poorest people.

  • Create a partnership with the local community ensuring they are fully involved in the project.

  • Create links with local skilled workmen to provide vocational training through apprenticeships to those children whose potential is best served by it.
  • Make the need for the charity defunct.
